It's a casual, classic yakiniku place for the locals. I think everyone has been there once or twice at least. Good quality meat, cozy atmosphere, and quite a variety of drinks - all very reasonably priced. If you're looking for a casual yakiniku with friends, this place is a classic choice.
Absolutely loved it! Amazing prices and portion sizes, the meat and vegetables are really tasty and the plum wine is perfect! Staff is friendly and super efficient. Also fell in love with the interior, comfortable atmosphere and music reminds me of my childhood. Such a nice evening!
Although it's not a all-you-can eat yakiniku, the size of each set is big enough for each person. The set menu is quite complete, which includes chicken, beef, pork, and even beef tongue (牛タン). The meat is tender and delicious. The method of grilling which using charcoal adds natural flavor to the meat.
This yakiniku is my favorite in Sendai, the courses have a really good cost efficiency. I'd recommend the Gyutan course, it's delicious and Sendai is always the right place for some Gyutan.
A great little Yakiniku restaurant! They use charcoal fires and the atmosphere is quaint. The menu options are good and well priced. The service was excellent and the staff are all very friendly. The restaurant is child friendly and has booster seats. The local specialty gyutan (Ox tongue) was very good. Not too salty and when cooked right it had the right amount of chewiness. My two girls enjoyed the meal as well.
Cost performance for this place is incredible; we were a table of 5 and we struggled to finish all our meat in the 2 hours. The sauce and marinade were very tasty and satisfying, and the staff were nice and tried their best in explain things in English. We arrived not long after it opened and there was a decent queue up the stairs by the timelessness we finished so we it suggest booking in advance or going early. Decor was interesting too!
I go here too much... But I love it :) No need for them to have tabehodai, the quantity and quality are perfect. Nomihodai is a great addition! The atmosphere and style are excellent.
